Nothing like a good Hachis Parmentier! Good, creamy mashed potatoes and beef accompanied by a green salad; it is a complete dish, a perfect family dish. Feel free to customize your Hachis Parmentier to your taste, add some pees and carrot, be creative and amaze the whole family.


For 4 people

Cooking time: 30 min


For this recipe you will need:


-1.3 lbs chopped boiled beef

- 2 peeled tomatoes

- 1.3 lbs of potatoes or Mousline

- 2 egg yolks

- ½ cup of heavy cream

- 0.2 lbs shredded Swiss cheese

- 1 onion

- 1 clove of garlic

- 1 handful of parsley

- salt and pepper

- 1 tsp Butter


Step 1

Brown the meat with the butter, chopped onion, garlic, parsley and chopped tomatoes, a little salt and pepper.

Step 2

For this step if you choose to use the Mousline by Maggi, which is faster and easier you will find the instruction in the back of the package. For the mashed potato; cook the potatoes in water for 20 minutes, then peel and crush them. Add the shredded cheese, the egg yolks, the heavy cream. Salt, pepper, mix well.

Step 3

Spread the meat in a baking dish. Spread mashed potatoes over it.

Step 4

Bake at 400 ° F for 20 minutes.
