Lentils With Bistro Sausages

Quick & easy recipe, for a classic French lentils dish that is has been prepared in French home!


For 4 persons

Prep. time: 10 minutes - Cook time: 30 minutes




Ingredients:


21.4 oz lentils cooked with goose fat

6 Bistro sausages

1/2 chopped onions

2 chopped cloves Garlic

Olive Oil

Parsley

Salt

Black pepper




Step 1


Simply grill the Bistro Sausages on bbq or heat through over medium heat for 15 to 20 minutes in a large sauté pan. Once cooked, cut them into pieces and set them aside.


Step 2


Heat over medium the large sauté pan with 2 tablespoons Olive Oil, add the chopped onion and garlic. Fry gently until just golden.


Step 3


Add the lentils and when it is hot, add the Bistro Sausages. Leave on the heat for 3 to 4 minutes and that's it!


Step 4


For more flavor, you can add a carrot, cut into slices, to the onion & garlic mixture and sauté for a few minutes. It will be a wonderful match!
