Tomato and Espelette pepper Crumble

It is summer time, everyone is out! At Lilou's Kitchen we've selected a few easy recipes, light and tasty that you will enjoy. This crumble is perfect with a side of salad and fresh fruit. Have it for Lunch or an outdoor dinner with friends and family.

You will need:

1 big cup of flour

6 tomatoes of colors

4 tablespoons olive oil

1 cup of grated Comté cheese

1/3 of soft butter

1 tablespoon of Espelette pepper

1 teaspoon of salt

Some basil leaves


Step 1:

In a salad bowl, mix the flour, Espelette pepper and cheese with your fingertips.

Add the soft butter and mix gently until the dough is sandy.

Adjust the seasoning.

Preheat the oven to 350° F


Step 2:

Rinse and dry the tomatoes. Cut into slices not too thin.


Step 3:

Arrange them in a slightly oiled backing dish. Sprinkle with crumble dough and bake for 25 to 30 minutes until the crumble is golden brown.


Step 4:

For the finale touch, Sprinkle with finely chopped basil just before serving.
