Fresh tomatoes, mustard, puff pastry? Doesn't sound so good already? Try this South of France recipe of Tomato Tart!
2 lbs of tomatoes
4 tablespoons of tomato sauce
2 tablespoons of mustard
1 roll of puff pastry
Salt & Pepper
1/2 cup of bread crumbs
In a baking tray, roll out your puff pastry. Fold each side (about an inch) to create a border to your dough, such like a dish (see the video for more details). Preheat your oven at 425 degree F.
Spread the mustard all across the puff pastry. On top of it spread just a little of tomato sauce. Then, sprinkle your bread crumbs.
Slice your tomatoes and align them on your dough. Try to use as much slice as you can! Add salt and pepper, herbs. Finally, drizzle a good amount of olive oil on top.
Let it cook for 35 minutes et voilà!
